the travel mindset was rooted in jaime at an early age: finding her most favorite childhood toy in a quaint gift shop in puerto rico at the age of 4. flying solo out west to spend the summer with relatives at the age of 10. road-tripping in a volkswagen golf across the country with her family in middle school. along the way, her dad was constantly documenting it all. As she grew up, the longing to travel only grew stronger and the passion to document every moment developed in her.
Keepsakes that have been collected, countless journal entries written, and tons of photos and videos taken along the way help her hold onto those memories of places that are loved so much. The nostalgia brought on by looking at the reminders of those travels just made her want to get out and explore even more.
Founded in 2018, the traveldashery wants to help you hold onto your own travel memories through carefully curated collections of photos, stories, and goods. We want our products + guides to offer reminders of those special memories whether shared or individual.
We believe life is best lived in motion, and we invite you to travel along with us, from the stories and locations we feature to the goods we create within our collections. Our goal is to call back to your own trips with notions of the places you love, as well as inspire you to travel to the locales we visit to experience them through your own eyes.
wherever you go, i go.
encourage everyone to live life in motion.
memories of the past, inspire our future.
celebrate the world around us.
storytelling reinforces the connections between the places we’ve been + the places we’ll go.
Jaime Leigh is the classy lady in charge of creative + operations at the traveldashery. When she isn’t busy doodling up new product ideas in her sketch book, she’s probably packing up orders, responding to customer inquiries, or keeping the office organized. She’s been in the entrepreneur game for a little over 15 years. Before creating traveldashery, she previously had two successful Etsy shops, a retail booth at a local maker market, as well as a long stint as a freelance graphic and web designer. She has a background in art + design, with concentrations in letterpress and book arts while in school. She loves learning new techniques and is constantly trying her hand at working with new mediums.
A Central Florida native, Jaime grew up with a pencil in one hand and a suitcase in the other. She spent her young days drawing along side her mother, who guided her to love and appreciate the arts. Her father, an entrepreneur himself, taught her his macgyver, problem solving talents and the skills needed to make it on her own. A childhood filled with travel sparked her adventurous spirit early on, and that sense of wanderlust has never faded.
When she’s not busy running the traveldashery show, she enjoys spending hours scrounging through local flea markets and antique stores (vintage mirrors are her weakness), spinning jazz records on her turntable, and insisting she was absolutely born in the wrong decade.
Nate is the strategic mind behind the scenes at Traveldashery, handling operations, analysis, and big-picture planning—though he’s also been known to lend a hand with everything from inventory management to packing orders. But let’s be real, this is Jaime Leigh’s business—Nate just works here.
Originally from Nashville and raised in South Georgia, Nate met Jaime Leigh back in Middle Tennessee, and they’ve been adventuring together ever since. His career started in professional sports, managing operations and strategy for soccer teams, before shifting into consulting, helping Fortune 500 companies transform and optimize their businesses. After earning his MBA from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), he decided to put his skills to work growing a business that celebrates travel, creativity, and a love for exploring new places.
Recently, Nate has taken up fly fishing, which conveniently aligns with his love of travel because, as any angler will tell you, “trout don’t live in ugly places.” When he’s not optimizing supply chains or expanding Traveldashery’s reach, you’ll likely find him wading into a river, planning his next road trip, obsessing over soccer stats, or perfecting his coffee game—because great strategy (and great fishing) starts with great caffeine.
